How this website handles the information you send us.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Shenzhen Groupex Technology Co Ltd., Guangdong Province, Shenzhen, China ("we", "us", "our"). We are the manufacturer of FAROAD equipment.

2. Scope

This policy explains what information this website collects, why, how it is stored and who can access it. It applies to this website only. It does not cover communication that takes place outside the website, such as email, telephone or messaging, or any separate website.

3. Information you give us

Quotation requests (the "Request a Quote" form). When you submit the form we record:

  • Name, business email address, company name and country or region (required)
  • Telephone number (optional)
  • The product or equipment you are interested in, manufacturer, model and quantity (optional)
  • Your application or production requirement (optional)
  • Your message
  • Any files you attach — up to 3 files, each up to 5 MB, limited to PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP, ZIP, XLSX and DOCX

Please include only information necessary for us to prepare a quotation. Do not attach files containing personal data about other people, or confidential material you are not permitted to share.

Other contact. The contact page does not contain a form. If you contact us by email, telephone or messaging service, that communication is handled through the relevant channel and is not covered by this website policy.

4. Information collected automatically

When you submit a quotation request, the following technical details are stored with your submission, to help us understand the enquiry and limit abuse of the form:

  • The page you were on when you opened the form (the referring address)
  • Your browser's user-agent string (browser and operating system identification)
  • The date and time of submission

The form also contains a hidden field, invisible to people, used only to detect automated spam submissions.

Server logs. The web server and the application on which this website runs may record technical request information, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting purposes.

5. Cookies and tracking

  • The public website sets no cookies. Browsing the website does not create cookies on your device.
  • No analytics, advertising or tracking services are used. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking of any kind.
  • No third-party content is loaded. Fonts, images, scripts and styles are served from this website's own server, so browsing does not send requests to outside services.
  • Administration area only. Staff who sign in to the website's administration area receive two cookies: one that keeps them signed in, and one that remembers their light or dark display preference. These are set only in the administration area and only for our staff.

If this changes in future — for example if website statistics are introduced — this policy will be updated before such a service is added.

6. How we use the information

We use quotation request information only to:

  • Read and assess your enquiry
  • Prepare and send you a quotation or technical proposal
  • Contact you about that enquiry and ask follow-up questions
  • Keep an internal record of enquiries and their status

We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we do not sell or rent information to anyone.

7. Who can see your information

  • Our staff. Quotation requests, including attachments, are visible only to authorised staff after signing in to the website's administration area.
  • Attachments are not public. Files you upload are stored outside the public area of the website and cannot be reached by a direct web address. They are delivered only to signed-in staff.
  • Hosting. The website and its database run on a server provided by Hostinger, located in the United Kingdom. The provider may have technical access to the server as part of operating it.
  • No one else. We do not pass quotation requests, attachments or your contact details to any other company, service or partner.

8. Where information is stored

Information is stored in a database and file storage on our server in the United Kingdom, operated by Hostinger. If you contact us from another country, your information is transferred to and stored in the United Kingdom, and is accessed by our staff in China.

9. How long we keep it

We keep quotation requests and their attachments until we delete them. There is no automatic deletion: records remain in our system until a member of staff removes them.

You may ask us to delete your enquiry and attachments at any time — see section 11.

10. Security

Measures currently in place:

  • Access to the administration area requires an individual account and password; passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form
  • An account is temporarily locked after five failed sign-in attempts
  • Quotation requests, attachments and user accounts cannot be read without signing in
  • Uploaded files are restricted to the file types listed above and are stored outside the public website area
  • Standard protective HTTP headers are applied to all pages
  • The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your choices and requests

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your enquiry and any files you sent

Write to sale@faroads.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. We may keep information where we have a legitimate business reason to do so, such as a live quotation or an existing contract.

12. Children

This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website develops. The current version, with its date, is always available on this page.
